**Please make a note - the January meeting will be held on Wednesday,
January 12 (NOT Jan 5).
Marine Corps League Meeting was held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
All officers were there except for Senior Vice Dominic Monaco. He had
an excused absence.
The main items talked about were Operation Toy Train schedule which
Luis Gomez and 'Caffe' will be participating in and the upcoming
Social. The social will take place on February 2, 2022 at the American
Legion Post in Whippany.
Based on the count we asked for at the MCL meeting on Wednesday, we
had approximately 25 people indicate they would attend the Social. We
estimate the cost to be between $30-$40 per person. Buffet dinner
and beer/wine/soda included It's a great opportunity to meet new
members and special guests.
PLEASE RESPOND to Char as to whether you plan to ATTEND and if yes,
how many people? Once we get a head count, more information will
follow.
We might be having some guests who are connected in veterans affairs
coming to our January meeting. They are the Director of Veterans
Services and ROTC Liaison at Fairleigh Dickenson University,, Martha
Papson Garcia and the Morris County Veterans Service Officer, Maria
Salafar. So, if you have questions for eith, feel free in asking.
The meeting went smooth and ended about 9:00 pm.
