Gold Star Monument

At The Washington Crossing National Cemetery for the dedication of The Gold Star Family Memorial Monument in Newtown, Pa. It was an honor to meet all an be in the presence of two Medal of Honor Recipients, all of the Gold Star Families and Veterans that have sacrificed so much for we as Americans.

The two Medal of Honor recipients were "Hershel Woody Williams", the last surviving Marine who was awarded the Medal of Honor during the battle on Iwo Jima. And in attendance was MGen James Livingston, Medal of Honor recipient, who was a Captain with 2/4 in Viet Nam during the Battle at Dai Do in May of 1968. FYI, There were 27 Medals of Honor awarded during this Battle in February of 1945. (22 Marines and 5 Navy) An honor to meet both of them. Semper Fi..
